Meditation Instruction in New York

Mindfulness, Compassion, & Spiritual Growth

A Softer Way to Meet Yourself

When life feels noisy, meditation offers a quiet corner. In our work together, you’ll learn simple, practical ways to weave mindfulness into your days. Whether you’re brand new to meditation or already practice, this space is here for you; supportive, spacious, and maybe even a little playful.

Did you know you don’t need to “clear your mind”? Let’s toss that myth out right now.

When the World Feels Heavy, Come Sit.

People seek meditation for many reasons. Maybe you want to soothe your nervous system. Maybe you long to relate to others, and yourself, with more ease. Or maybe you’re simply curious about creating more space to breathe in your life.

Meditation can help you:

  • Feel calmer and more grounded

  • Sharpen focus and presence

  • Nurture compassion for yourself and others

  • Explore personal and spiritual growth

How We Sit, How We Soften

We’ll meet monthly or every other month for about an hour, virtually (telehealth only). Each session is a mix of conversation and practice. We’ll talk about what’s alive for you right now; your growth, your struggles, your aspirations. Then, I’ll guide you through practices that meet you where you are.

The Path We’ll Walk Together

I bring Tibetan Buddhist philosophy into our meetings, but always in a way that’s accessible and supportive for your life. For beginners, we’ll keep it simple and steady. For seasoned practitioners, we may build on what you know, even exploring readings or more advanced practices together.

Depending on your needs, sessions may include:

  • Basic sitting meditation (gentle breath awareness)

  • Contemplative practices (reflecting with presence)

  • Moving meditations (bringing mindfulness into your body)

  • Compassion practices (learning to be a better friend to yourself and others)

The heart of my teaching is compassion. My hope is that meditation helps you see yourself, and the world around you, with a softer, kinder gaze. You don’t have to “get it right.” Meditation isn’t about perfection; it’s about showing up as you are, with curiosity and kindness.
